This has always been the hardest part for me. First you need to decide on your budget as well as how much work you actually want to do yourself. Some of the questions you need to ask yourself when selection a venue are:
What is my budget?
How much work do I want to do myself?
Do I want the party to be in my house or elsewhere?
Should I host the party inside or outside?
How many kids will be attending?
You can do everything in the comfort of your own home. At home, you don't have to worry about the time limit and you can do pretty much whatever you want. However, you will have to clean, cook and entertain the guests, so be prepared to be exhausted! Parks are great for kids birthday parties as well, but you need to keep the weather in mind. Another option is to rent an in-door venue. Some places will only provide space while you have to bring your own food and entertainment. But you won't have to worry about cleaning before and after. Some kids birthday party venues are all-inclusive meaning they will provide space, food and entertainment.
